Thank you all for your patience! We’ve fixed our problem with the PayPal buttons and we’re ready to once again accept your entries for the 30th Annual Orange Rose Contest for Unpublished Writers.
It’s going to be a great contest – we have wonderful published authors as your first round judges, and some of the most sought after agents and editors in the industry ready to judge the finalists’ entries.
We’ve still got room for your entry, so get it polished and send it in. One of the best parts about the Orange Rose Contest is that every single person gets feedback on their entry! That alone is worth the contest fee. Plus you have a shot at being read by acquiring editors and agents in your subgenre in addition to a chance to win cash prizes.

We had an unexpected PayPal problem today, and had to temporarily take down our PayPal buttons. We’re so sorry for the inconvenience!
We expect to have the buttons up and working again on March 5 or 6. We’ll post a message here letting you know everything is fixed.

OCC/RWA is proud to announce that the Orange Rose Contest for Unpublished Writers is currently accepting entries for our 2013 contest!
Entries are 35 pages maximum (chapters and synopsis), and the complete work must have a projected total length of no less than 50,000 words.
Entries are accepted in the following categories:
All first-round judges are published authors, and final round judges are acquiring editors and agents.
